In addition to its restaurant created by the great chef Gérald Passedat, the MUCEM also has a permanent children's area and regularly offers family workshops.

Perched on top of a 162 meter high hill, it is visible from all four corners of the city and offers a 360 degree view. The basilica, built in the 19th century in a Romanesque-Byzantine style, is home to numerous ex-votos displayed on the walls.

You can also take the small tourist train from the Old Port, whose circuit 1 includes a stop at Notre Dame de la Garde.

The Cosquer Cave (distance from the apartment 1,9 km, 25 minutes on foot or 17 minutes with the bus n° 49)

Cosquer Méditerranée is an identical reproduction of the Cosquer cave located in the Calanques park, and its parietal works. The visit of this underwater space is done sitting in vehicles on rails for 6 people at a time, and allows to admire the reconstitution of 480 engravings and cave paintings made between 33 000 and 19 000 years before the present. The 35-minute tour is followed by a documentary film on the discovery of the cave in 1985 by the diver Henri Cosquer, and an exhibition with reproductions of animal species present in the Calanques during the ice age.

The entrance is on the esplanade of the J4 next to the MUCEM.
